summer suedes.

After work. Night out for memorial day. Brought gracie and her roommate a housewarming gift of one of my home liquor cabinet must haves: Lunazul Tequila.  Shots to go around.. and checked out their new ever so sexy bachelorette suite.  Two bedrooms. Amazing city view. Their interior decorating is turning out to be absolutely gorgeous. Pictures soon to follow hopefully.  On the way to the mexican restaurant the girls snapped this photo on me and my boy walking down the sidewalk.  What a great photo to have.. thanks girls for thinkin of me on our walk.

leaving lets my heart remember how it is i feel.

picking up my man from the airport in about an hour. . . absolutely can't wait to see him. . . i feel like i want us to BE this picture when he gets back. . . with me in his arms.  Quite sexy.  He's actually rockin a much similar new hair cut too. . . like tha boy in the picture.  He really hasn't been gone that long.  Just a mid week trip to california to visit family.  Yet i've missed him nonetheless and am very happy to have him home.

holy ghost.

1. After much love for the cartilage ear cuffs that have been so inspirational... i had made it my quest to find the perfect one.  Much searching and blog hopping later i settled on something even better.  I knew i just had to have it the moment i laid my eyes on it... the "Holy Ghost Pearl Spike Ear Cuff" by ashaloo on etsy.  Made of vintage pearls.  It dangles from behind the ear and i love how it looks worn with double and cartilage peircings on the model.  The whole single long earring look is so fab.

2. Morris Has Died.    My little pal... the spider that built his web in the stairwell outside apartment building... keeping me company the past few months has passed away.  Poor little guy.  He will be missed and remembered fondly every morning on my way out work.

3. Future Wedding Ring.    Low Luv by Erin Wasson Small Triple Crystal Cocktail Ring.  I don't care if this is costume jewelry.  I want something of eccentric taste and natural beauty.  Refinement just isn't my style.  I am in love with these rings cut from natural crystal.  A breath of fresh air against the standard engagement rings that i can't seem to even imagine wearing out of the house on my finger on a daily basis.

4. Dark Burgundy Lipstick.   This color is of my favorite variety.  The deep dark smoldering lip adds a bit or sultry mystery.  Especially with the addition of the smokey eye and the carefree messy waves.  Source unkown.  Might this be miss Abbey Lee Kershaw?

5. The Oversized Leather Messenger Tote.   Found these two beauties on tumblr.  An absolute must for this spring and summer.  So casual and put together all at once.  Shopping. Working. The perfect carryall.

for the birds.

my boyfriend called me up the other day and asked me what my favorite animal was... i thought for a few moments and then was reminded of my childhood and how much i adored flamingos.  Mainly for their pink feathery feminine girlyness...and for there long legged sex appeal.  What an inspiration these beautiful birds are and can be on fashion and beauty.  After pairing these photos together i must point out my loves:

1.BIG FLOPPY BLACK HAT - never thought i'd wear one and yet now i think i must splurge...these girls wear theirs with such grace and edge.  (gotta borrow the little sisters hat and see how i ike it)

2. FEATHERS AND FUR - just can't get enough.  the textures.  the softness. the organic natural bohemian vibe. and each so very different each with a various purpose.

3. LEGS ELONGATED w/ BLACK TIGHTS AND BLACK SHOES -  an absolute must on a vary daily basis. especially fall.winter.spring in portland.  the longer and leaner and thinner the better.

4. BODY CHAIN OVER CHUNKY KNIT SWEATER - now why hadn't i thought of this one.  way to add some rock ito a very chic look.  black black black with pastels...i am loving.

5. LIGHTEST COTTON CANDY PINK HAIR - i am dying.  been absolutely craving...possibly obsessing over this hair.  The color is so soft and subtle and over my white blonde hair would blend over oh-so-well.  sexy. feminine. a bit out there but hot and IN. i may have to jump into this temporary dye job soon...before this becomes an overdone trend or before i chicken out completely. (besides how hot would this hair look wearing mostly blacks and whites and neutrals?)

.... he looks like a miniature leopard.  I am in love.  and i am not even a cat person...not in the slightest.  Is it wrong to want a pet because his fur is so 'fashionable'?
